Smart HI VIS

The Smart Jacket HI VIS can be worn over or under any jacket or outfit, requires no connection to the motorbike, is ventilated and easily foldable. It thus combines all the advantages of the latest generation of Dainese D-air in a simple garment that can be worn anywhere.
All the safety of the Dainese airbag system used in MotoGP, developed in over 25 years of research and testing on the road and on the track, is now combined in a simple jacket suitable for any use on the road. The Smart Jacket monitors what is happening around the motorcyclist 1000 times per second and activates the shield always and only when it is really necessary. This guarantees the wearer maximum protection. A freedom that didn't exist before and that you won't want to do without.

WHICH SIZE SUITS ME?
The Smart Jacket can be worn over or under a jacket. To choose the right size, please follow the instructions attached:
If you want to wear the Smart Jacket under the jacket, measure your chest circumference only with the items you want to wear under the Smart Jacket, e.g. (technical underwear, T-shirt).
Please note: You should leave 5 centimetres of space around your chest and 5 cm around your back for the airbag to work properly.
If you want to wear the Smart Jacket over your jacket, measure your chest together with the jacket.
Please check that the protectors are included with the jacket when measuring.
Once you have taken all the necessary measurements, please use the table attached under Documents to identify the correct size.

The fabric of the Smart Jacket is stretchy and should fit under/over most items in your standard size, but there may be exceptions for bulkier touring jackets.

Good to know:

• After deployment, the waistcoat must be sent in, as only trained personnel are allowed to repair the gas cartridges and air bags - deployment service 249.95 EUR
• The waistcoat should be sent in for maintenance every three years - the maintenance service at Dainese is free of charge. Only a shipping and handling fee of EUR 59.99 will be charged
